Tile, thoughtfully placed
Custom tile work
The layout makes the difference.
A tile surface comes together through more than the individual tiles. The layout, the corners, the borders, and the finished edges shape how it feels in the room. True Set Tile brings Eli's 30 years of tile experience to showers, floors, backsplashes, niches, and custom installations. From a framed backsplash feature to tile that continues around a shower corner, explore work where the details belong to the whole.
Plan Your Project
A CONSIDERED APPROACH
Planned from the first line to the finished edge.
The position of a feature, the line through a corner, and the finish at an exposed edge all belong in the layout from the beginning.
Shower walls and niches
A niche has a position, a border, and a relationship to the surrounding tile. Considering those elements together helps the opening feel part of the wall.
Tile floors and transitions
Consider how the floor layout meets doorways and adjoining surfaces. Those transitions are part of how the finished space comes together.
Backsplashes and feature panels
A framed panel can give a backsplash a focal point. Its size and border relate to the tile, cabinets, and countertop around it.
Layouts and finished edges
Corners, borders, and exposed ends shape the layout. The Detail View shows how continuous courses and a defined edge connect the surface.
THE DETAIL VIEW
Good work holds up to a closer look.

Choose a numbered detail, or read the notes alongside.
DETAIL 01The horizontal tile courses continue into the inside corner. Their alignment connects the adjoining walls, helping the backsplash read as one continuous surface.
A vertical trim piece marks where the tile ends and the painted wall begins. It gives the exposed edge a clear finish.
The linear layout continues around the outlet cover. The surrounding tile keeps this interruption within the larger pattern of the backsplash.
FINISHED SPACES
Features that belong to the whole.

Know what comes next.
Tell us what you want to change.
Share the room or surface, what you would like to keep, and what you hope to change. An initial idea is enough to begin.
Work through the details.
Discuss your priorities, the space, and the work the project involves. Any finish selections you already have help inform the conversation.
Confirm the plan.
Agree the scope, estimate, and timing before work moves forward, including what is and is not part of the project.
Stay informed as the work progresses.
We manage communication with you throughout the project, from the initial discussion through the work itself. You can expect professional communication at each stage.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
A few good questions.
Practical answers to help you plan your next step.
What kinds of tile projects can we discuss?
Showers, floors, backsplashes, niches, and other custom tile installations. Tell us which surface you want to change so we can confirm the scope for your space.
Do I need to choose my tile before contacting you?
You can start with an idea. If you already have tile selected, share its size, product information, and a photo or sample so we can discuss the layout.
Can a niche or an exposed edge be part of the plan?
Yes, niches and finishing details are part of the tile work we can discuss. Their position, dimensions, and relationship to the surrounding tile need to be considered for your specific space.
Can you quote from a photograph alone?
Photos help start the conversation, but they do not show every condition. The scope, measurements, and any preparation needed must be clarified before an estimate is confirmed.
